Is the Apple e-store down?

In the past Apple has pulled down the online stores globally. Apple usually does this just before releasing its new product for the market.

In line with the situation is the pre-order date of the Apple Ipad which intelligibly suggests that Apple has retarded the Apple store in order to update the websites with ‘Preorder iPad’ now button or such.

Besides the Apple iPad preorders, the availability of the rumored latest editions of  Macbook pros may also be the cause of the store pull-down.

As of now, Apple has planned to launch the iPad first in US, but it is still not clear why the other web-stores are down. .

Technically Apple can update the store even without completely taking it down but this is perhaps Apple’s way of dealing with the product launches and handling pre-orders!.
