How To Restore Lost Contacts on GMail

We all make mistakes. Be it sending an email to the wrong person, typing a message in the wrong chat window, or accidentally closing some unsaved work.

Thankfully, most applications today have features to help us recover from these errors. A new addition to these comes from GMail with Google Contacts.

Google announced Google Contacts that allows reversal of your contact list upto 30 days in the past. So if you happened to delete any of your contacts accidentally, “Restore Contacts” allows you to get them back, by restoring to any time within the past month.

To do this, simply go to “Contacts” on your GMail interface.

Under “More Actions” you will find “Restore Contacts”
Click that, and a window pops open:
You can go back even hours and minutes in time. That way you can really correct a mistake as soon as you make it and not have any other changes disturbed.
