A List of Muslim American Bloggers
Recently, one of my friends, came up with an idea that I found as unique as the people it represents. Basically, he made a list of Muslim American Bloggers who represent their community's views and opinions.
Agreeably, by no stretch of imagination is the list all-inclusive nor exhaustive. But what it shows us is how the American Muslim population has evolved over the last decade or two. It is now relatively more open to expressing their ideas and ideologies to the outside world. Another way to look at this prism is how they now feel that they are part of the American society and want to positively contribute to it's growth.
This is not to say that they haven't done so in the past. But it seems the present generation is not only more vocal but also is comfortable about it.
Also noted by us is the popularity this article has gained. It was posted on the 14th of May 2011 and in less than 24 hours is already in the fifth position on Google.
